What you'll do
- Assess understanding and identify each student's strengths and gaps.
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to student needs, aligned with the NSW English syllabus.
- Explain concepts clearly and concisely, adapting to different learning styles.
- Support students with essay writing, textual analysis and exam preparation.
- Foster critical thinking and close reading through guided practice.
- Confidently use online teaching platforms to engage groups of students and deliver individual feedback as needed.
- Monitor progress and give constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Work with fellow English tutors to uphold teaching standards.
- Contribute to growing our library of learning resources.
