How we came to be
While teaching full-time as Head Teacher of Mathematics, David Luo began coaching students privately in the evenings. Seventy a week by year's end.
CMC committed to coaching full-time. A team of three, and one hundred students.
Two hundred students across the Hills District.
Cherrybrook Maths Coaching became CMC Education, and a second centre opened in Pennant Hills — a team of twenty across teaching, resources and leadership.
Six students. Never a seventh.
Most centres place twenty to thirty students with one tutor. We cap our groups at six, and add a second tutor before we would add a seventh student. A tutor with six can actually work with each one — following each student's own school closely, so what they meet in class becomes consolidation, not first exposure.
